1. In Grade 9, students apply for American high school at the same time as he goes to school in China. Did not complete as he did not have time to complete the application.
2. TOEFL scores are good, but spoken English needs to be strengthened.
Application Process:
Language: Because S is still in school, we will contact S 'parents every few days to instruct S to prepare materials needed for the application and interview This ensures his grades do not slide. Under our supervision, S scored 84 on TOEFL in grade 9, which was satisfactory to both S and her parents. However, a good language score is not enough. S still needs to improve his spoken English. Application Process:
Leaining: C was young and was not focused on learning. He had no systematic study with TOEFL before, so our teachers prepared test preparation courses for C. The course plan included our attention to every day that C was doing to ensure he was doing well in our courses as his attention skills was lacking. Our one on one course helped C improve his TOEFL score and focused on the areas that he needs the help in. The specialize courses helped him achieve a higher score.
School Choice: based on C's interest in art and his parents' chose schools that had an art emphasis, C applied for two schools, and received the offers from both. After much debate with C and his parents, C chose a high school in Wisconsin.

1. C self disciplined and above average learning ability.
2. Prefer science classes. English comprehensive ability is above average.
Difficulty:
1. Applying for study abroad in grade 9 requires detailed planning and preparation time.
2. Friendly, but introverted, English comprehensive ability is above average, but timid when speaking English.
Application Process:
Language: Since C is still in school and the middle school entrance examination is coming up. He needs to balance the time between the high school entrance examination and the study abroad plans. Although C had good score in English, he did not have much contact with TOEFL. C has a strong independent learning ability, therefore in the final TOEFL exam he did well. C is introverted and he was very timid when speaking English. After our consultation with parents our team decided to put C on our one on one lessons for a month. This month was filled with interaction and our professional American teachers helped C improve his English greatly. You can see C’s personality brightened up.
School Choice: We provided C with several colleges and universities. C applied for two high schools she was interested in and successfully received all the offers. After consulting with C and his parents, C chose a high school in Maryland.
Advantages:
1. Outgoing personality, enjoys making friends and strong social skills.
2. Above average spoken English
Difficulty:
1. X is not an independent student and lacks self control.
2. No prior contact with TOEFL, English test results below standard.
Application Process:
Language: since he is in school and has never been exposed to the TOEFL test. He did not have time to full prepare for the TOEFL test. On a daily basis we will ask X learning progression. A week later, after consultation with X and parents, X decides to take our TOEFL course. His spoken English is poor therefore, X also chose our one-to-one tutoring course. Our American teacher created an English environment, this improved the level of X spoken English. After a month and a half of tutoring, X's test scores have been greatly improved. His spoken English has greatly improved.
School Choice: since X has a favorite university. He applied for three high schools near the university and nearby cities. He got offers to all three high schools. X chose a high school in California through consultation with his parents
